Q:  IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO RESERVE THE DATE?
A:  YES a deposit is required to book any event.  A $200 deposit for the offsite events, $200 to $500 is required in banquet center depending on the event and $1000 deposit at Cranks by the Lake.  ALL DEPOSITS are non-refundable.
 
Q:  WHEN DO YOU NEED A FINAL HEAD COUNT?
A:  We require a final head count 10 days prior to any event.  You can up your count 5 days prior to your event.
 
Q:  WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE BALANCE OF MY BILL?
A: Final Payment is DUE 5 Days prior to your event.

 Q:  DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
A:   We accept all major credit cards such as VISA, American Express, Discover, and MasterCard.
 
Q:  ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES?
A:  Our experienced sales staff will go into detail of your entire event.  You will receive a contract when booking explaining any additional fees.  All pricing is subject to service charges.
 
Q:  IS THE SERVICE CHARGE A GRATUITY?
A:  NO! The service charge is for set up and delivery.  Gratuity is totally optional.
 
Q:  WHAT HAPPENS TO LEFT OVER FOOD?
A:  In compliance with the standards set by the Board of Health, prepared leftover food must be disposed properly.  This eliminates the potential of food borne illness caused by improperly handle foods after their event concludes.  Cranks’ Catering is the leading distributor for the Forgotten Harvest, a Homeless Shelter in the City of Detroit.

A:  WE GO ANYWHERE!
 
Q:  WHAT TYPE OF FOOD DO YOU DO?
A:  Our Chefs are prepared to do anything.  If you do see it on our Menu just ask.

Q:  BEFORE WE MAKE A DECISION DO YOU OFFER ANY SAMPLES OF YOUR FOOD?
A:  YES we do taste testing 4-6 times a year.  Our policy is if you leave a deposit we do not charge.  If you have not left a deposit we charge $13 per person.  However if you book the event after the sampling we will return your $13.
 
Q:  I’M GOING TO NEED A TENT, TABLES AND CHAIRS, CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANYONE?
A:  YES we have an entire list of people who can help from Tents, Tables, and Chairs to moowalks and DJs.
 
Q:  I DO NOT NEED EVERYTHING CATERED. I AM JUST LOOKING FOR SOME CHICKEN AND PASTA; I AM GOING TO DO EVERYTHING ELSE MYSELF.  CAN YOU HELP?
A:  ABSOLUTELY, Cranks offers our complete Menu for PICK UP AND GO.  Items are sold in heavy duty aluminum pans available in half and full size pans.  Just place your order 72 hours in advance.  Give us a time you would like to pick up and we will have it HOT AND READY to serve when you arrive.
